Controversy On Brett Kanaugh

How Kavanaugh Nomination is Making Waves among the Younger Generation

Many have been following the recent controversy over Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination by Donald Trump to a position on the Supreme Court.  Kavanaugh was nominated for the Supreme Court on July 9th, 2018.  Kavanaugh appeared in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 4th, 2018.  Less than two weeks later, Doctor Christine Blasey Ford came forward with allegations of sexual assault by Kavanaugh in the summer of 1982.

Ford stated in her testimony that she did not want to publicly share this information, “I am here today not because I want to be.  I am terrified.  I am here because I believe it’s my civic duty to tell you what happened between Brett Kavanaugh and I when we were in high school.”  Ford claims she is “100%” sure that the man who attacked her was Brett Kavanaugh, as well as one of his friends.  Ford stated how a “stumbling drunk” 17 year old Kavanaugh groped her and put his hand over her mouth.

However, Kavanaugh has repeatedly stated that these allegations are false.  Kavanaugh stated during his testimony, “My family and my name have been totally and permanently destroyed by vicious and false additional allegations.” If you want to watch the full testimony Click Here.  However, since it is eight hours Click Here for a shorter recap video.

Do you believe Doctor Ford’s claims and why?  Do you think Brett Kavanaugh should be approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee?
